Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) * with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) * is designed to help look out for your safety. Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Prius’ blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in reverse, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

Integrated Backup Camera

Put Prius in reverse and the standard backup camera * automatically activates to show you what’s behind your vehicle on the available 12.3-in. multimedia display.

Safe Exit Assist

By using radar sensors inside the rear bumper, Safe Exit Assist (SEA) * helps detect approaching vehicles or bicycles from the rear.
